Fun place. Good food. Live music on weekends.

This was the most awful experience I have ever had at a bar/restaurant. The bouncers talked for my mother extremely distrespectful. Not to mention-- she called to speak to a manager about the terrible experience that she had and the manager was almost more unprofessional than the bouncers. There are so many fun places in the area, do not waste your time here.

Absolutely 10/10 would not recommend. The pool security guards are on an absolute power trip and will look for any reason possible to kick you out. Completely unprofessional and so many other lake of the ozarks pool bars that have a way higher tolerance for typical pool behavior.

The food was great. The service was quick and the servers were friendly. I love that it's right on the lake. There are also several pools with swim up bars! Easily and great weekend hangout. Would visit again.

Searched google for family friendly restaurants & this was one listed but DO NOT consider going here with kids. Too rowdy, way too loud, too adult of a restaurant. On the weekends it’s full of drunks, young 20 somethings throwing fits over being kicked out. Took my daughter to the restroom and we were followed by a crowd of drunk young girls dropping the F bomb as often as they could. Wouldn’t have a problem with it if it wasn’t advertised as a kid friendly place, which it is most definitely NOT! Food was decent, not great. waitress was good.

Got the veggie nachos, pretty standard. Waitress was very friendly. We chose to eat inside and it was very clean. The pool area was fun and bar staff was hilarious. They took twmps before we entered.

Extremely packed restaraunt no social distancing at all. The place was a little dirty but the food and service was pretty good.

I got food poisoning from their under cooked frozen crab legs. The manager specifically told me, oh well it happens, come in and we will get you more. After I refused the offer and said I would just leave a review she commented she didnt care, they dont read them because people lie. Needless to say, I am disputing with my credit card company.

Let me in with my daughter. Was told too stay with her and keep her away from pool. Left her with with group i went with to order something, no waitress. Was met with a hostile attitude. Not allowed to order because i couldn't go to bar with child but they wouldn't send over a waitress. Then was made to go over to the restaurant area... Then was immediately meet with waitress greeting me. No thanks, we'll have water. So many other places to go at tree lake. This one def not family friendly in any way. Skip it.

We had a snarky waitress and the food was WAY OVERPRICED for what we ordered and received. I would never recommend this place. We couldn't get our waters or other drinks refilled, and had a very difficult time getting our server's attention to bring us silverware or condiments after she plopped down our appetizers and briskly walked away. It was not busy at all, so she wasn't swamped, just lazy and snippy. Wish I could remember her name. I would certainly mention how much she turned all 13 of us off. Fortunately there are other quality restaurants that appreciate customers. Redheads went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and our tips reflected it. Domenicos couldn't have treated us any better, and we would have taken Tony home with us, but his wife might have not approved. Just don't say I didn't warn you if you go here and are disappointed.

Fun spot for a drink and live music. Menu has a good variety. Tried the fried potato salad and it was just ok, but the dinner rolls are amazing!

Great food and atmosphere until a member of our group was called a racial epithet by a "regular local" and the owner took the side of the local deciding to not do anything "because he knows him and his character." Plan on hearing from me very soon.

Great place to eat with a fun atmosphere. We had a group of 22 and our one waiter did a great job juggling all of our orders and requests! Fun place on the water to eat!

One of the coolest spots I've been to in a while probably hands down best bar food I've ever aten and the outside live band was off the chain I give this spot a 10 and recommend to all ages

Nice atmosphere! Friendly people from all over just come to have a great time.

Last year this was one of our favorite places. This year not so much. Just after noon on a Monday the pool was cloudy and decking was filthy. Bathroom by stage was disgusting. Sat to have lunch and was greeted by the overpowering smell of rotting garbage. Service was marginal at best and drinks appeared watered down. Sushi was delicious.

Sushi roll I had was not “the best sushi on the lake” had the Madre de dragon. Most flavorless sushi I’ve ever had. Would not recommend nor would I buy sushi from here again.

Great food! Great environment! Staff was helpful and friendly. We dined with our family, including small children, and we were not disappointed. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large for the price. Inside there are plenty of seating options, while outside offered live music and even a pool bar! Stop in and check it out if you're in the area. You will not be disappointed!

We were wanting to try a new place and came across a sign along the street. It is a narrow lake road down to the place. We had a hard time figuring out parking due to no signage once on the property. We opted for inside dining. The food was good. We had a view of the lake and enjoyed it.

Food is good. Entertainment is usually pretty good. View is good (depending on where you sit).

Fun place to party, food can take a long time when busy, food is usually pretty good for bar food. Bartender gave me a vodka tonic when I asked for a vodka club, I really don't like tonic. She was pretty rude when I asked for a new one, she said she knew that she hit the club soda button.

Loved it! Food was great, live music, you can pull up on a boat and dock for some drinks, food, etc. There is a pool with a bar, so you can drink and swim. Perfect place to hang out any time of the day.

Pool was wet af. I fell and bruised my coccyx but that was bc I had like 7 rum and cokes and I was trying to chase down some guys dog. Staff is gorgeous and showstopping, never been done before. Amazing.

Always a great place to visit while at the lake of the Ozarks. Almost all bars now have the swim up feature but Backwaters has one of the best around. Prices of drinks are about average at the lake but you are paying for the experience in addition to the alcohol.

I came with a group of friends to enjoy the lake of the ozarks for the first time. I had a great time up until I was in the pool area of the bar. I was kicked out by a VERY unprofessional “manager” of security for doing a handstand in the pool (nowhere were the rules posted????” Post your rules so they’re available to the public to ready to avoid confusion and disrespectful staff.

Omg good food and Cat was a great waitress and my dream girl. We're were you 25 years ago!

The place was a lot of fun. If you go, sit outside. The atmosphere outside is better than inside.
